God, what else can I say about this album other than it is a million times better than I expected. I was thoroughly disappointed with Humanz, and to be honest, I''ve never been the biggest fan of Gorillaz in the first place. I listened to their more popular songs like most people have, but this is the only album of theirs I have enjoyed beginning to end. It is definitely some of their best work and is worth the buy

I didnt go into this album expecting much. allthough ive been a dedicated fan for 13 years, I admit only a few tracks off "The Fall" & "Humanz" spoke to me. I also wasnt into the fact that on Humanz, Damon Albarn had such minimal vocal appearances in so many tracks. This album turned that around. I loved Damons prominent vocals, the concepts were deep and that signature Gorillaz sound was everywhere. This did sound a little like a solo record from Albarn, but the instrumentals and writing were key in highlighting this as a group effort. I have no clue how the world will receive this, but personally I love it!!

I''m not a fan of "modern" music. To give you an idea of what I mean, the first band I saw play live was Blue Oyster Cult, followed shortly after by Nazareth. It takes a lot for me to notice a band or artist, and I find myself falling back of "the golden oldies" of the ''70s. Hell, I''d rather listen to what is considered the worst of the ''80s before listening to what is considered the best of the ''90s, or later. That being said, it was The Gorillaz video for "Clint Eastwood" that drew me too them. The Gorillaz have a unique sound I can''t quantify, and snapped me from my "golden oldies only" mentality. I highly recommend this album, or, if not this one, "Plastic Beach."

A great mix of styles on this Album. Sorcererz is my personal favorite, but Hollywood and Sauk Eye are outstanding as well. Not a single track on this album I would not listen to.

Humanz was a pretty big disappointment following 7 years of inactivity from Gorillaz, and that makes it so surprising how quick the turnaround on The Now Now was. While Humanz was excessively guest-heavy, The Now Now goes in the opposite direction, being largely a Damon solo effort. While you could argue it swings the pendulum a bit too far the other way, these are nonetheless the band''s best post-Plastic Beach tracks. Opener "Humility" is the more whimsical type of guest track Humanz needed, while later tracks like "Souk Eye" and "Fire Flies" prove that if we never get Blur back, we can at least get something close.

I wouldn’t buy this unless you want to use the record as a decoration for some reason. (I think poster would do just the same.) Maybe I am some anomaly I hope so, but still not going to recommend this.

Humility is the song of the summer.

I love the Gorillaz and I really like this album. It''s a bit more of an atmospheric album than Humanz, closer to "The Fall" in terms of style and polish but more cohesive. Nice vinyl packaging as well.

Nothing''s ever going to match that groundbreaking first Gorillaz album, but this comes pretty close. Damon Albarn''s restless artistic temperament has led him back to the kind of inventive hip hop that former rival-in-pop Noel Gallagher could never dream of pulling off. Certainly a more coherent alum than ''Humanz'', ''The Now Now'' seems to be evidence that Damon Alban''s falling out with Jamie Hewlett has been largely repaired. The visual element ff Gorillaz is stronger than ever, and the music''s regaining some of its playfulness too.
